I changed the plugs to deans male plugs on the battery side so I can clip the charge leads on to it. I can charge them on either my T35 or Integy 16x5 with the same settings.

BTW, finally took some pictures of it, Without Body

I'm using the battery holder that came with the kit (the non 4-AA holder). I cut the tabs off so that I could mount the batteries sidways i.e. parallell to the chassis. That exhaust & antenna look cool! What did you do with the antenna?

The 1100MAH ones that I've been using seem to work fine ...they're the Team Orion Micro packs.

Sorry guys, but one more question...

I seen people use AA and AAA batteries...but i also notice somebody is using some 2/3a batteries....what are those...and how many cell would work good on a stock motor??

Are the 2/3a cells better...??

or should i just get some Panasonic 1600mah nimh batteries??

If I read you right, the 2/3a batteries that you are talking about are the 600mah NiCd batteries used for the recievers of gas cars (They now come in higher capacities and Nimh). They are heavier than the AAA cells but I'm using them because they can take a lot more abuse when charging (because they are Nicd). I use 1.5A. 6 cells will run really nicely on the micro!

Default okay okay

I just got my Micro today...I got it used...but in very good condition because the guy had it for only 2 months.

Lots of questions...

So I'm not supposed to use AA rechargeables? But if I'm going to use an Alkaline that would be expensive because only after an hour (am I right?) the battery is dead and I need to buy again...

What battery packs alternative I can use? How do I charge them? Is there a special charger for this packs?

TFR: HPI has batt packs specially for micro....but I got a bigger problem...seems like that its not available here...

any more tips?

Thanks

I'm using the team Orion 5 cell 1100 MAH pack, retails for $38.99 ...works great, I've charged it twice (discharging it first all the way with a single 2 amp bulb) and both times charged at 1 amp charges up to a little over 1100 MAH in a little over an hour.
