Woman's views on the RC hobby vary greatly from one to the next. Now there is alot of women out there that would rather have theyre man doing a hobby besides something else, like chasin' other women. Most women I been with hate it because I believe they hate all hobbies men do period! No matter what it is, no matter what the cost, they hate it period. This seems to have gotten better as I got older, older women know your going to do what you want, so why fuss about it. Be it fishing, hunting,RC's or a muscle car. I know of a few guys that have to "sneak" around about there hobby around there worse halfs. Its funny too because they met while they where into the hobby. Funny how after a couple of years later and all the sudden its a problem. All I can say if she doesn't like what you love thats ok, but to ask you to stop doing what you love is WRONG! A few years back I had a girlfriend that out of the blue gave me grief about RC's after a year or so. I said "well since its my money and my time and I'll do with both as I please. You don't seem to mind everything else my money and time went towards. House,cars,bills....etc,etc,etc". Since everything was mine and not hers there was only two options: STFU or don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. Yup she left alright but I survived just fine. She since then has become a single mother of two with a loser father in a crappy apt. We talk time to time, and she allways says how good she had it. I'm quick to remind her she left over my RC hobby

I agree!

That Corally girl looks like a gremlin in a Roller Derby outfit!

As far as the racing with a girlfriend or wife you just have to have balance and everything works out.

That could backfire really quick though if she really likes that toy.

My ex-wife hated it! She's not with me anymore. My wife now is involved in almost every aspect of our racing program and I'm the luckiest guy on earth. She can do killer pit stops without hosing the car too! Gets a little grumpy at some of the expences buts tries to understand what their for.

My wife likes me having a hobby and a passion but hates that it can take a long time on a saturday. I have to admit our track races at a bad time...we start at 1pm and usually get out around 8pm. Get there to practice at 10 and thats a whole day gone in her eyes. For me its fun but I can understand the whole day gone for a hobby kinda sucks when there is stuff to be done around the house and saturday is usually the better day of the two to get stuff done.
