Well, I made the A main today with my previous fdr (6.16) and thew temps were dropping a bit so I decided to add a tooth on the pinion. That put me at 6.01 fdr, the temp on the speedo and motor in the last heat race was 115 and 120 respectively. I already had the field covered on the top speed department, so more is good, Right? Well about 3 mins into the main the backmarkers apparently decided to t-bone me, I decided to take my car off before it was killed. The temp was no higher than before. I am thoroughly impressed with this motor. By the way, I use the Super Sport esc from a 5800 system not the gtb.

here is a post from tony from prs.. It was requested that smaller spurs be available for brushless oval racing, and they are doing it now...\
2007 NEW PRODUCTS
You brushless guys have requested, well we listened. We will be introducing a few new spur gears to the Pro-Lite Oval line within the next few weeks.
PLO-6484 84 tooth Pro-Lite Oval
PLO-6480 80 tooth Pro-Lite Oval
A 76 tooth maybe added later on down the road but for now look for the 84 and 80 tooth to hit the local hobbyshops very soon.
Barry at MSA will be the first to stock these smaller spurs. As soon as they ship to him I will post letting ya'll know so your local hobbyshops can order.
