It'll be wierd seeing the fly fishing pole of Jr. controlling a Kyosho! (anyone who's seen him race knows what I mean!)

But in the end it's not that surprising - I'd guess that after the Horizon acquisition there's no 'family business' for him to be working for, so he's gotta do what's best for him, and I'd wager that Horizon doesn't want to be making pure race cars when sports versions and RTR's are a much bigger segment...

It'll be interesting to see what Gil and Joel can bring to Kyosho! Old school rockers, it's like Spinal Tap on tour!

Yep the Losi name will be all RTR's and no more real racing cars.It won't be long before everyone see the total change. On the other hand Kysoho will get even better.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about Gill and I were in the same qualifier at the Off-Road Mod Nats. One minute we were talking peacfully in the pits, and the next minute it's a full on battle to the death sword fight!

I see nothing about this on the Kyosho website.

It would be funny though. He would go from Horizon, who is turning Losi into toy company, to a toy company that is trying to get back into racing.

But, Oh No, all Kyoshos car will now come with the horrible "standard" screws.

I noticed today that there is no longer mention of this on www.rccaraction.com and then I also noticed that Kyosho took down their banner welcoming Gil.

I wonder if things have changed suddenly???

Default Congrats Jr!

I had the priviledge of working side by side with Jr for nearly 10 years. He gave my racing career a "lift" back in 97 with a new beginning at Team Losi. Since then we became great friends. There are very few people with the intensity and dedication to racing as Jr. As a former "employee" and as a lifelong friend I want to say Good Luck!
