Can some tell what could be faulty with the 5800 system is it the motor or esc.

The motor only turns after you spin the rotor to get it started.
I have re-programed the esc and transmitter etc.
The system has only 20 minutes total run time.
- Novak customer service has not replied back
- so any input that could help would be appreciated.

My first GTB was bad out of the box. It did the same thing as you say yours is doing. When I talked to Novak they said it sounded like the ESC. So I sent my brand new out of the box GTB back on my penny back to Novak. I recieved back a new unit.

The problem you've described sounds like an ESC failure.

I have had 2 super sport esc's go bad. with the super sport, it's not a matter of if they will go bad, it is a matter of when they go bad.
