LiPo charging help. please!!
i have bought some Maxamps Lipo 5500mah 2S5P 7.4V Saddle Pack. i currently have the Team Orion Advantage Charger (updated version). what settings should i charge the pack at?

one other thing, the advantage charger charges a 2S battery. will my maxamps 2S5P saddle pack definately work with this charger?

Hiya,
You should confirm all this with the instructions for the charger and battery, but look for the CC-CV setting (constant current, constant voltage), and then set the charge rate to 5.5amps (which is 1C of a 5500mah pack). That should get you started. Also, NEVER leave a charging lipo alone, and you should charge it in a metal container. I use locking cash-box with some holes drilled in the side for the charge leads. You should be able to one from a stationary supply shop or similar.

Id check the charger manual for the menu diagrams to figure out where this option is in the menus.

Yes you just need to set the charger to Lipo setting it will only charge 2S batteries (7.4V)
I would set the capacity at 5500mAh and you should be fine.
