Just dont mix in the girly magazines that I know some of you have. And you know this is the wife's way of getting rid of some of that stuff! But 'investing' in the future is usually a good thing

Also, If you can get a few fliers or business cards from LHS to put inside the cover (tape or staple) people would know who to call if they had questions. This is a sweet Idea. I'm thinking about doing this.

Ahhh, you beat me to it....I was gonna suggest placing a small sticker on the cover of the magazines that would say something like, "For Local R/C Racing Information, Please Visit www. (insert your local racing website) .com"

I'm sure people would jot down the site while they're waiting, and check it out once they got home....

Great idea James........

we got one of our track zealots has been taking track flyers to krogers and harris teeters and yes piggly wiggly and asking if he can put them in the RC mazs on the rack. most managers have been receptive. you would be amazed how many bashers don't know about the local track. some even might stop being bashers.

Maybe she picked up a magazine dropped off by James's wife. .. Just messing with you Jon. James Is thinking in a positive way. I just took my daughter to the pediatrician today. I could have taken a few mags there. Next time I go to any waitng room, I will drop off a few mags.

I'm a doctor and I put all my RC magazines in the waiting room
only problem is after a few days you dont see it anymore
But it is still better than keeping them in your attic until your roof caves in
or in your garage until you cant park you car anymore
Great idea guys

It is how I got started in the Hobby, someone would donate R/C mags to my school.

Now that RCDriver offers 2 for 1 subscriptions why sign yourself for such a great mag and then signup the school for free. The thing about school librarys is than everyone can look and they won't disappear as fast as lobbys.

I use lobbys for when I am done reading the mag, I can drop i off so that my house does not have as many R/C things clutering it up.

Ahh..those were the days. Was it a gold pan? I always wanted one but could never save enough at 11 years of age after paying for all the broken parts on my original Blackfoot.
