Novak 410 M5 Help

I bought a Novak 410 M5 and I need help setting it up. There is 6 wires - 3 wires are for the conection to the receiver and there is another 3 wires - 1 black and 2 red. The on/off switch has been disconnected and the 2 wires soldered together but I can't work out what this other red wire is

Cheers

Just found out it is to use with a FET Servo. What is a FET servo and how does that wire connect if I have one?

Cheers

I am really having a hard time with this, the wierd thing is that the steering servo won't even work aswell. If you don't want to use a on/off switch anymore, do all you have to do is connect the black and red wire together? The steering servo and motor wont do nothing. Nothing is working

Cheers

Hey.

Ok 410M5 is pretty old... maybe check the novak site for instructions....

The FET lead is for a FET servo... KO made/still makes FET servos that require this lead... it supplies 7.2v to the servo... normally makes them extremely quick... models like 1001, 1012 etc
