As an online spectator, just wanted to thank Futureal for an awesome job with the online video!

This was my first time following a big race online, and it was a blast to be able to see the races as well as watching the actual scoring, and being able to chat with others!

There were a few glitches, but it was still crazy fun following along!

I was also impressed with the civility in the chat room. There were a lot of people rooting for their local favorites, and any smack talk was kept on a good natured level (that I saw anywayz....LOL)

Mad props to Scotty and the crew for such a well organized event and congratz to all that participated....

Additional props to all the NorthEast locals who represented....Cuffs, Fairtrace, Schreff, Melton, X, Gray, Swifty, etc....

OKAY, AND YOU TOO TAG (you had that B main....$#&$#!!!!!) LOL

I was fortunate enough to have a buisness trip the same week of this race.
On friday I made the trip to the race and took in the biggest carpet event of the year.
The overwhelming sense that I got was that although this is a huge race for everyone and their sponsors, Everyone was having fun.
All the stupid questions I asked and all the photo requests were met with a good natured and usually funny response.
The class act award for me anyhow has to go out to Mr. Andy Moore. He just seemed to realize that he is a representative of the sport with the attitude he showed me. Way to go Andy.

Btw
Does anyone have videos of the mains?
As I said I was only able to go to fridays qualifiers.

And Scotty, you have done more to polish this sport than anyone. Keep it up.

this was my first big race and I must say, I am glad I chose the IIC. even with my bad luck, I am ready to sign up again for next year. When is registration?

Great racing, fun time, best run program, best stocked hobbyshop in the world. I just love it. Thanks Scooty, Ampdraw and crew.

Thanks to Scotty, Boomer, and the IIC crew for an awesome event. I wish all races were ran like this one is. Sorry for keeping Jeff and the crazy australian out so late...it was worth it though.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by and keeping Garrett and I busy for the week, we built a ton of motors and we can't wait to do it again next year. It was great meeting a lot of you guys and getting to help you all out with motors.

Also props to that guy (Charlie? I'm horrible with names) who won the Cyclone kit and gave it to the little kid..that was top notch. I saw the kid several times after that with piles of donated bodies from racers.

Time to start the work week... Can't wait till next year.

There was only 1 person who was back to back during the mains, and that was Mike Dumas, but one race was with a touring car and the other was 1/12th Mod.

Hara was hunting down Lemieux for the mod rubber win in the main, but tucked and spun him on an attempted pass, so decided to wait till he was fixed, but in doing so had to let Reinhard get passed too; an unfortunate accident, but showed good sportsmanship. He gave back the spot and in doing so gave away the win. Sometimes sportsmanship is worth more than a win.
Correct spelling for Marc is Rheinard.

To Scotty, Boomer, Jamie and the rest of the track crew, thanks for yet another well run IIC. I liked the shorter days even though it seemed I still could not get enough sleep, but will be there again next year making it four in a row for me. I am pretty sure the rest of the UT crew had a good time even though it was frustrating for a few at first getting their cars setup. I was amazed I even brought a trophy home considering I don't run foam at all and was not very familiar with the setup I had on the car until I ran it.

Not sure I could take another week of pitting with Ms. Carruba again!! Was nice to be able to meet even more people at the race this year I have had interaction with on RC Tech. It is always cool to put a face with a name. Was also cool to meet the crazy Aussie Luc. Hopefully he had an uneventful flight back home down under.
