Yes , we request that all participants stay the the South Point Hotel for the IIC.
Last year I did a break down of the benefit of using the code. Here is the post with the reason for our request.

If you do not use the code during the race. They will not know you are part of the IIC for your whole stay. The IIC will not get recognized for putting people into the hotel. This would not be a good thing for consideration for future years.

Please help us in our attempt to show the hotel that this is a viable event for them to support and in turn we will have a permanent home for the IIC.
Here is the hotel information. The hours of operation for the phone number are Monday thru Friday 6AM to 12AM, Saturday and Sunday 7AM to 12AM Las Vegas time.

Reservations can be made at the South Point phone number
1-866-791-7626 use the code *********IIC 2007************
for our special group rate. For those of you who did not attend the IIC last year, the hotel is awsome!! The rooms have probably the best beds around. 42" Plasma on the wall. Very nice pillows and comforters. Large Bathrooms and the hotel has a ton of stuff to do,plus they are opening their brand new nightclub.

THE HOTEL REQUIRES A FIRST NIGHTS DEPOSIT OF ROOM AND TAX PER ROOM. TO GUARANTEE INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS AND THE CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED THE FIRST NIGHTS ROOM AND TAX. THE HOTEL ACCEPTS ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS FOR THE DEPOSIT AND THE CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE STIPULATED ROOM AND TAX. GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS WILL BE HELD UNTIL 6:00AM ON THE FOLLOWING DATE.

Thanks,
Scotty

Indeed. I prefer the lead or steel ones.

You'd have to use a whole bunch of the foam ones to get 5 grams.

Just a explanation needed.....

Haven't raced in a big race in a while.

Body rules...

What does it mean when they say that the "Rear bumper must be enacted?"

I'm sure techgod will give the official definition. But you must trim back of your TC body on the trim line. IE: not cutting the back of the body out like a 1/12 or oval car. I'm sure Jamie probably has a measurement of bumper thickness and possibly height from the ground, but they will be in mm and I don't understand them...

Jamie, You should come tech the BRL race at Tri-clone this weekend.
