Its going to be tough to limit batteries with out limiting the classes to minutes.
Most of the people running lipos are going to the most Mah's as possible.
I hope they don't impose a size before considering just how many 6000 and higher are out there.?
I think they can squeeze 8000 mah's into that size with out a case.
I have no idea WTF you just said.

You said you believe we have a standard size.???? So thats going to limit the Mahs we can put into that size.
If you already have 8000's or higher you may not fit that size for being larger.
The result could be running a 20 minute class for larger capacity batteries and 6000's and 5000's or less 10 minutes and 4800 or less 5 minutes and so on.

I would buy the Velocity one even if they weren't of the highest quality, just for the design factor.

Who needs 8000 mAh in racing?

Myself speaking, I want all the Mah's I can get. The packs will last longer. especially in the 5 minute races.

Who doesn't need more Mah's.?
Technically speaking we could still be running 1700's.

Yeah the Core is a 2S1P pack as well. What's the likelihood this new pack happens to be a 5000 mah 2S1P as well without using the same cells? Regardless of what the outside case looks like.

Ooookay. Battery makers will always find ways to cram more mAh into smaller spaces, so capacity will continue to improve, presumably in a size that will fit into these cases.

Racer's edge recently started selling a 5000 too.

It looks just like the Core RC 5000...

Not sure theres so many different sp 2p 10 c20h its nuts. Theres a guy at the dirt oval track running a 4 cell that he can convert to to 4800's and some thing else. Its crazy. Some kind of 9600 or some thing like that.? No case in a yellow wrapper. And its the same size as a 4800 case type. 14.4 volts. Thats the kicker when it comes to size.

R/C's infatuation with flame graphics is almost comical.

But in the case of Schumacher they won't admit it. At least not that I've seen yet.

Enerland...isn't their life expectancy a little low compared to others? If that's the case I'll stick with my Orions.
