Battery Hibernation??

OK....so indoor season is over (or nearly over) for many of us. Question is, how do we prepare our expensive battery packs for long term storage so that they can live to kick butt another day. Can we teach them to hibernate? Or, do we have to fret over them all summer?

It would be cool if there was some way to "set em and forget em" for a few months, wouldn't it?

Any ideas??

I heard the TEKIN is bringing a battery nurse out. this will keep the voltage in packs at a constant volt. till the next time you need the packs. You do need to Plug the procuct into the wall.

Hey by the way great race this weekend. only took me about 38hours to drive home from Calgary to Victoria. Man was it worth that little plaque Hell hey. See you next year.

chances are next season your packs will be out of date anyways.

This years race packs are next years practice packs.

I just did this last night in fact. I charge my packs up the whole way let them sit for a couple months, discharge and recharge and hope them make it through. I keep the good ones for practice get new race packs and then anything that I have left over I give to kids at the track.
