Default Question! What is difference between Xray T2 and T2R

i want to buy either T2R and T2, but i dont know wut is the difference between them. i would like to race it on asphalt, not on carpet. which one is better? also, any online store offer a cheap price on those? Beside T2R and T2, i also want to know something about T2 007 US edition and T2 007 Eruo edition. i read the spec, Euro has thinner chassis, no extra hard arms, and, rubber tire, old style diff. seems US edition is superior than Euro? How come? Does it mean Euro is designed especially for asphalt race? what is the designe purpose of the US and Euro edition? thanks

Mate, your questions have been adressed several times. Never underestimate the power of the search button...

Anyway, T2R is a cheap version of T2. FRP (fiberglass) instead of carbon fiber chassis, simpler diffs, composite outdrives, plastic wheel hex.

On track there shouldnt be a major difference, specially on asphalt and if you are new to the hobby.

T2007 EU is for asphalt, USA is for carpet.

The biggest difference now is you can actually buy a T2 007. Good luck getting your hands on a T2R. They're out of stock just about everywhere and Xray won't start production on them again until later this year. You could pick up a used T2 (pre 007) for $200-250 though.
