Default tt-01

Hi people just wanted to ask what your thoughts on the tamiya tt-01 are as im thinking of getting one to get me back into the hobby and flow of things after a long time after selling my old electric buggy to help buy my car.

Thinking of one of these as ive ive been told by my local hobby shop that it would be a good model for me to start with, I only really want it to play abiut with and try and learn how to get some good driftin skills from it

Thanks for any comments

Gaz

Hi Gazf, if you intend to use the chassis just for drifting, then I'll say the TT01D is a good car to start with. If you intend to go for races, then get a TA05 or a TRF chassis. The reason is the TT01 needs a lot of hop-ups in order to be "competitive". A fully hop-up TT01 is actually more expensive than a TRF415 or a TB Evo 5.

Go to any Tamiya website and you can find more than TT01's.
