schottky diode?

hey recently came across these in an electronics store they are 1n5822 diodes, if i put 10 of these in parralel can i make a remote 30amp diode?
how many of these should i run with stock and mod motors?
its on a gt7 with no other diodes will these work? if not what diodes will?
cheers, Josh P

But you may try Novak 36 amp shottky.

Diodes in parallel do have additive current carrying capability, however, its very bushleague to do it with 10 of them, it will look that way, and since current travels the path of least resistance, from an engineer point of view putting 10 in parallel doesn't guarantee the current splits equally among the 10 not perfectly matched diodes. It could theoretically overheat one with the least resistance, take it out, and start a daisy chain of events like ripping a piece of cloth from the edge that already has a tear in it. Find a couple of 9 amp shottkys and put them in parallel, that should be lots.

other wise ill try 5 in series and see what happens?
