I thought it was an after market? It looked like if shimmed like a bonded it would fit. With the small bearings.

The 13.5 in the subject refers to turns (Novak 13.5 brushless motor with Sintered Rotor) rather then a 13.5mm rotor for a non-Novak motor. Sorry for the confusion.

41-42mm rollout on rubber tires, on carpet it seemed to like about a 38-39mm rollout. The asphalt track I was running at was pretty flowing though.

We race on a very large carpet track with medium bite and my setup for gearing on my 1/12th with a Novak 13.5 with sintered rotor, is as follows:

46mm tire, 36 tooth pinion and 78 tooth spur which rolls out to a 66.6mm roll out.

I got as high as a 72 roll out but that was past the sweet spot. It had good speed on the back straight but the punch out of the infield corners dropped off to an unacceptable level. Depending on course layout, I will go up or down one or possibly two teeth on the pinion from the setup listed. Also, as the tire diameter goes down, the pinion goes up. I am also using a LRP 07 Competition ESC.

Like some of the others have stated, you have to experiment. I just kept gearing up until I could stay with the brushed 19T on the straights. The motor was quite hot when I came off of the track with the 72 roll out but it is barely warm with the 66.6 roll out.
