if your just starting, ALOT but after you've purchased your chrgr, batts, radio, motor, then you will not be spending that much.

I'm thinking it'll rack up to $900 in my mind, this sound right? I know this stuff goes a long way though.

EDIT: This is if I can't get the Cyclone in time.

Team Brood has a bulk battery sale if you are on a budget. These cells will atleast get you moving and are great for the racer on a budget.

15.00 3800mah
26.00 4200mah

Head over to Horsham as soon as you get a chance, and check out the different cars, radios, and stuff in person. Talk to the racers and the shop owners. See what they carry parts for, and what kind of help you can get. I believe they're racing this Saturday night, and then next Saturday during the afternoon.

It will make things a lot easier for you if you get something and others know all the 'tricks' to make it work well.

Are there any good books out there for adjustments? Things like camber, caster, etc. See I've always been a basher, so I never really worried about these kinds of things and I'm not 100% clear on how to tune these settings for racing. Also, are there any guides out there for soldering ESC/motor wires?
