Default HOTBODIES - AH12 Conversion parts

On the HotBodies AH12 Conversion part#HOT90200 are the lower plates available seperately?

I'm assuming by the pics I've seen this rear pod allows the use of the current L3/L4 style rear pod plates to be used.

I have several of the old ROADSTAR 1/10th scale cars I'd like to try adapting this lower plate to.

Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)

Are you asking about the bulkheads that the motor and axle mount on or the bottom grahite podplate. If you are asking about the bulkeads then the one that comes with the L3\L4 will work even the ones that Calandra sells will work as well. However, if you are asking about the bottom fraphite podplate, it will not work.

I guess that partially answers my question.

I wanted to know if the L3/L4 pod plates (Bulk head and motor plate) fit the AH12 conversion.

I also want to know if the Lower Pod Plate (Graphite) is available seperately...

If it is, I need a supplier and part number. I want to try one on one of my old HPI RoadStar cars and convert it to the L3/L4 (instead of the old 10L style bulkheads) The other dimensions appear to be the same where it mounts to the rear of the chassis...so this may be a cool upgrade on an old dinosaur.

You might want to contact Hot Bodies directly to see if you can get the lower podplate from them. I have been looking for parts as well, but only could fine some parts but not the ones I needed ( like the graphite pieces). Stormer has some of the parts, but not everything. Here is the link to what I found: http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...umb=on&smode=0

the hammer 12 does not use a T-bar plate like the 12L3/L4 series. the hammer parts are available seperately...but mostly overseas in HK or Japan.. the conversion kit has been discontinued for quite a while now... so getting any replacement parts may be difficult.. probably cheaper to buy the whole conversion kit... on sale now at Stormer Hobbies...

The back/rear suspension on the AH-12 uses the same basic design as the old HPI RoadStar and HPI F-1 cars...except it appears to use the more modern L3/L4 style motor and bulkheads.

I actually have considered purchasing one of the kits from Stormer, but $70.00 for a lower pod plate to experiment with on a dinosaur car would be kind of silly. If I could find just the lower plate for $15.00 bucks or so, that would be different.
