I'm creating the entry flyer this coming week and will have online soon.
As for tires, we are waiting to hear from Eddie regarding his testing. We are leaning towards one brand of tires although we need to learn the level of VHT use at the track. I'm waiting to hear from Eddie.

Harsh is racing at Speedworld today; so, I will thank you for all the old geezers.
What, only two e-mails? Harsh would need three identical ones...

Asking a stupid question, is no one else worried about the concept of using VHT inside? Can we vote for grape soda (or equivalent) instead?

The surface is still like new and has been covered by the rug since last Sept.

Traction was high when the carpet went down over the track, so it probably won't need to be treated. At this time I think the worry is there will be too much traction. The chemicals inside won't be an issue, the on road room has a lot of ventilation, a large garage door and two smaller doors that can be left open if needed as well as a large vent in the ceiling and a powered vent in one wall.
The track is also in a separate room from the pit area, so your exposure to the chemicals is minimized somewhat. Come July it will be pretty warm up here so every door will be open and every fan will be on, the air exchange is really good with the fans running.

Official classes
1/12th Stock
1/12th 19t
1/12th Modified
Masters Stock
Touring Stock
Touring 19t
Touring Modified
And we are still hoping to have the exhibition invite only Pro Ten modified class.....I have confirmations from 6 drivers to be in and I am sure the other 4 will do it once I call them.
As for the VHT inside.....we sprayed it ONCE over a year ago when the track was first done.....it provided way too much traction, so we never sprayed it again.......we just let it wear down. The last time we ran on the asphalt, it still had a ton of traction. This is basically brand new asphalt that never gets exposed to the elements.....and even then, the room its in has a $10,000 fan that sucks any fumes right out in a jiffy.....we have run gas on the track with no problems.

hey all: Does or will anyone have pics of what the peel-it track and pits will look like for the '07 roar asphalt on road nationls? Also looks like the peel-it raceway is in a warehouse do they owne the building or just rent space?finnaly those people like me who think the asphalt nationals should be outside should consider two things. One they can controll the conditions better indoors and given all the rain they get in the northwest it'll meen fewer canceled races.just my thoughts

there is a pic of the track on the website.....none of the pits, but we have 150+ pit spots and the ability to add about 45 more if needed.....
We are in a large industrial style building.......plenty of space, parking, and power......with full restrooms.
