Oh yeah, forgot about the Arlington Fly In, it's only the largest airplane event in the Pacific Northwest and the third largest fly in in the nation...and it's happening the same week. Boy...that sucks balls.

Good times... At least any airplane nuts will have something to do should they get sick of racing.

Is there a entry limit, or did I miss it?

Cut and paste from the National Guidelines. Electric races will still have the typical entry limits. Extensions for entry limits are typically granted upon request of the track owner.

29 ELECTRIC ON-ROAD (Paved and Carpet)
29.1 Required Classes are:
1/12th scale 4 cell Modified,
1/10th scale Modified Touring Car
1/10th scale Stock Touring Car
29.2 Suggested classes are:
Juniors 1/12th scale or T.C. stock classes
Masters 1/12th scale or T.C. stock classes
29.3 Handout tires will be used in all Touring Car Classes using rubber tires.
29.4 Race durations are specified in ROAR rule 5.1.4
29.5 Entry limit is 250 vehicles or 25 heats.

Hey Dawn, I was wondering if ROAR was going to allow a 5cell option like the Reedy race is doing?? (Minimum car weight 1450 grams for 5 cell-equipped cars. 1525 grams for 6 cell-equipped cars) Since ROAR wanted to go to 4cell at the begining of the year without giving the racers a chance to test, run it for awhile. This might be a good chance for ROAR to allow other options with it being a "Racer's choice".

You can run 5 cell, but you must meet the min weight requirements....which is easy, just leave the 6 cell pack in and wire up to only 5....

I just booked the Comfort Inn too. Looks like they still have rooms left. Party in Harsh's room.

No. We posted in the news section an option for that to see what people wanted to do. The electric on road committee was adament against it, so we offered for racing other than Nationals. See News 12/10/06 on www.roarracing.com. (this was done for off road and on road)

Although, Eddie's comment is right. Keep your 6 in and wire up to 5 if you want.
