Ok I have been to a couple local races and I am getting a 1:10 carpet racer. I have talked to a lot of racer but everyone has thier own opinions about setups. Do you think for a spec class I have everything I need and will be able to transition to modified in the future with out any major mods.

CAR SPECS (Just Finished It)
Team Associated L4 ( Bought Complete but Used) Spec motor
Futaba S3010 Servo
LPR Pro Sport ESC
AirTronics M11 Transmitter & Receiver

Any thoughts.

Only thing worried if servo is a good servo I bought everything else new and added ot tonight

Ok if you have an L4 then you have a 1/12 scale car. go to the 1/12 thread and you can find all the info that you want there.

Yeah, those things aren't for 1/10th, they are for 1/12th pan car. For sedan you'll need different batteries, servo, etc., but fortunately there isn't too much difference (often none) between ESC and motors (although tuning is different, but mod is diffferent).

the only 10th scale l4 is there oval car.... if it has a tray om the left side that slides, you have an oval car, and it wont work for 10th pan racing..
