I think the grid could be a little more spaced out, there is almost always a crash in the sweeper on the first lap in Invite.

Congratulations to the winners, Corey Lewis, Ryan Cavalieri and Marc Rheinard.

Corey - Did you wreck the trophy when it got dropped ?
Hmmmm How do you go to a race and not prepare before hand? It doesnt matter if you race off road all year, or carpet 90% of time...if I sign up for an asphalt race and really expect to do well, you bet I'll be putting the time to practice, work on set up, equipment, etc...its all about preperation....those drivers simply did not prepare, and it showed on the track. The rest is just excuses...

oh man, i just watched the open and spec main videos... talk about "interesting" driving. i don't think i've seen that many corners cut, cars hacked, stop-and-go's called in the entire last year of club racing.

Good job on the win Corey!!

Nice videos, thanks for using a reasonable format.

Are the mod cars that make the whistling noise using the BL motors with the fan on the rotor? I believe they're Feigao based, as opposed to LRP or Novak.

On the tire issue, I definitely agree that some change must take place.

I brought a buddy out to the track both Sat and Sun to watch. It was his first time watching on road and he was quite stunned by the speed and driver ability of the invite class. One race he really liked was on Sat when Hara was racing with Hoenigl and made an amazing pass on the last lap before the S-section. He was truly in awe at the precision of those drivers. He came back Sunday to watch again and was particularly interested in watching Hara race again. However, this time, he was not driving nearly as fast and clipping curbs almost every lap. My buddy was quite confused as to why a person could go from driving an amazing, fast race one day, to being at the back of the pack, losing the next.

When I told him that it was because of used tires, he still didn't understand why 1/2 the field was on new tires and 1/2 were on old ones. According to him, a person who had never seen an onroad race before, it was quite disappointing to see 2 or 3 drivers break away while the rest of the pack struggled to keep up.

Whatever change is made, at least keep it the same across the whole field, so that in each race, everybody is on the same rubber, used or not.

it was because some BL motor like Orion, CP or GM the have built in fan on the rotor to make the rotor running cooler when you rev the motor it sound like you runing brushes motor.
