I believe he had to because he won 19 turn last year. Please correct me if I am wrong.

HAd a great time, the track was awesome. But the tire wear was rough i would rather foam tires any day, you can get more then one competitive run out of your tires. New tires were were at least three tenths faster then 1 run tires. BUt in all had a great time maybe foam tires on asphalt. Scotty and the crew did a great job see u in vegas.

I am not Daryl but I know it does work with the Novak System as Barry Baker was running it with no problems so it "should" be OK with the LRP speedo as well.

This is exactly the problem with Rubber tires.
Sure you can keep running them for weeks though... if you want to be slow.

EA

Thanks Eric,

I love the checkpoint motors I have now and I am sure the BL motor will be just as good if not better. I am more for the Blue Factor so the Novak is not in the cards LOL.

Looking forward to your TC5 set up.

Jeff Cuffs,

We need to run more rubber tires on the East coast so we can get better with set ups so that tire wear is not as bad. I just need to run more LOL

See ya on the carpet.

Is it just me or is coverage of this race pretty crappy. Hardly any pictures, can't get results of anything except invite class...I think we need to start a fund to send Nashrcracer to cover every single event, what do you think?

Big thanks to Scotty and the crew for putting on another fantastic event. This was my first Reedy race and I had a blast.

Cuffs - I do agree, 1st run on the rubber tires was 2-3 tenths a lap faster. Not an issue with foam tires.

Thanks - Brad

I am sure there will be alot of pictures .... Doug from rc scoring pro usually take some nice pictures. And scottys brother boomer was at the race as well and he has been taking some amazing pictures at local trackside events and i heard he was snapping away this past weekend, so give boomer a few days to sort everything out and i hope he will have some stuff for us.

Your completley wrong. Setup has nothing to do with this sometimes on certain tracks. If this is true can someone that runs rubber all the time to chime in and let us know if first run tires were the same as say 3rd run tires for them at this race.

180 and 360 Raceway. Best on the East Coast. Take your pick

Guys,

Look at the boyz over the pond they are running rubber tires whooping us at the large races ie Worlds, IIC, RROC and the Snowbirds. Some drivers and teams (AE) had a great weekend at the RROC. But why not get faster on carpet and asphakt by opening our eyes and running more rubber?

Just my .02

I went through $400 worth of foams at the Novak race just to end up BQ in stock foam
A few of my friends switched to rubber after the last practice session because of the cost.... in fact at Trackside you only see foam racing the month leading up to the Novak... before and after its almost all rubber.
I'm sorry.......lol
