Weylin will need a top 5 run to make the A due to qual points

Randy is deep in the A and one more solid run will seal the deal. Mo could make it if he can swing a top 5 tomorrow.

Looks like Cory Lewis might take TQ with two 0's with Qual points and TJ let 1 loose in last round for a 0

Sorry for the ignorance but how do qual points work?

Also is there a place where current standings are? I notice that on liverc it only has the invite in the tq button.

I heard that they can cause broken bones as well. You REALLY have to be careful with those things. Plus, they don't have much shelf life.

It's pretty simple Joel, for each round the drivers are given points for where they rank based on their run, the fastest run of that round gets a 0 and it counts up from there.

This race uses the best 2 rounds of points with obviously a 0 being the best. If there is a tie at the Reedy race they go to the next best round's points and if there's still a tie they move on to the remaining round's points. It's always based on the total.

At Reedy Corey Lewis zeroed the first two rounds with TJ claiming the 0 in round 3, right now TJ is the only driver in contention for TQ based on the qual-points system.

The secret to going fast in the Spec class is to have RC3 Grafix across the visor.

Corey Lewis, TJ Bradley, and Dave Bowser all did

Cuffs is 26th after 3 rounds. Neils is 31st out of 31 in Invite. That doesn't necessarily mean the car isn't good, the competition is tough. Cuffs is not an asphalt racer at heart.

Here is the heat sheet for Sunday (1 more round of qualifying), and the current Invite standings.

AE update- The TC5 is working great and we are glad to have Kyle Skidmore sitting in the open with 2 TQs along with Craig, Juho and Rick's impressive runs in Invite. With no drops...I believe that those 3 are 1-2-3. Still a lot more can happen tomorrow but wish us luck. Also in the Open main we've got Christer, Brent, Ryan C. and Tommi T. for a total of 5 cars!

All of the guys are running the ITF option chassis which tends to lock the car in a bit more than the more rigid chassis. The invite guys are running the new option alloy spool with molded blades. Us open guys are running the molded diff which we drilled and screw together.
