Default Help please with interference

Hi guy's
I raced last night and got major interference, I run a Ko Pro po VFS-1 hara 2.2. I use a ultimate shotkie diode and a cap. I also use a much more shotkie as a extra precaution at the same time. I used a orion V2 8x1 and checked the enbell capacitor and that was fine the light was working. There was no one on or near my frequence I was using and I have never had the problem until 3 weeks ago and I have not changed anything. My comm has plenty of beef on it still. Is there anything I can buy to help with this problem and do any of you guy's have any idea's on how to help get ride of this problem. With out saying spectrum please.
Thanks in advance
Addam

Are the brushes run-in? I had a bit of glitching because i didn't run them in long enough. Is there any dirt and dust in the receiver and speedo case? That can cause a bit of interference.

Thanks Guy's for your help on this
2 days before the race I fully rebuilt the car and did the com and ran in the brushes. I have checked the receiver and servo and they are clean. Do you guy's know of any way to stop this. I once noticed that Surikan had 4 small motor caps on his endbell, would any of this help or is there something else I can do.

Its a long shot, but make sure your crystals have a good fit, I had to very slightly bend the pins inwards and it stopped me getting interference once.

Trf what tranny are you using and how old is it? i suffered with interferance for ages and tried everything to get rid of it (new rx,xtal, changed wiring around etc) then found that it was the throttle pot on the tranny used a diffrent tranny and viola problem solved. might be worth a try

Yes the AM signal will be seen as noise and interference.

Does the problem only occur at the track? Can you make it happen on the bench?

Happen's at the track and even in practice when no one is around at all. Never on the work desk. I also never get servo twitch just just between the speedy and motor.
Thanks Mate

My car never glitched on the desk.

But when you run it OUTSIDE and at range. sometimes it'll do something a bit nasty. Don't count on the desk test. It doesn't work!!

Hows the antenna?
Tx voltage?
Position of esc cap? Too near to the Rx?
Wiring? - near the Rx?
Battery connectors - solid connections? No loose fittings?
Motor leads - all solid? No bad soldering?
Inside of Rx case - clean? No carpet, dust etc?
Rx connectors - all solid? No nicks and cuts?
Tx - sure it works? Didn't drop it recently did you?

Xtals - does it work better on another set?
Chassis - no CF contacting electrical components?
Servo - not too much for the BEC? - Check your linkages.

Just a check-list.. some might've been mentioned before.

Have you moved the PT from where you normally have it? I had glitching from this and it started glitching less that 5ft away from where i was standing. Moved it back to the usual spot where i have it and it was cured.....
