MOTOR HELP!

My LRP Fusion (Reedy KR Teardown) was running backwards in my car. I checked wiring and nothing was wrong. I changed the timing away from the numbers below the 0 and it turned the right was but chewed the comm up after seconds and ran extremely slow.
I flipped the endbell but it still turned backwards. HELP

Hmm. Ive flipped it again and increased the timing. it seems to be turning right now however I dont want comm wear to be extreme like it was.
I just ran it in at 2v on my pulsar, for about 80 seconds it ran at around 10.5A. Then it started sounding slower and ran at around 7A, is this just the brushes bedding in and are these current draws about right
