OH-on the steering rack thing.....
Cyrul said if you want quicker steering response-run the Losi spindles on the NTC3 rack, and if you want easier to drive-run the AE spindles. Its a preference thing.

Default Motor mount

Heres a pic that shows how the motor mounts the same as before-utilizing the standard TC3 motor Cam.

Guys with the NTC3 Steering... I put the NTC3 steering on my Demon, and it seems that the placement of the ball studs are different from the regular rack. It's placement is pushed back. It created a bit more angle on the steering links. Is this how it's suppose to be or am I doing something wrong here?

That is totally 100% normal. Looks funny doesnt it?

I would recommend you do a littl work on that steering rack as well. Replace the long screws with ones 1/16" longer. More reliable. but dont use screws so long they stick out of the bottom of the swing arms. Also dont use the black plastic nuts. Buy Associated aluminum locknuts. Less slop.

I was very leary of running it because a lot of guys here tried it pre-champs and hated it-took them right off, but they might not have put them in the right position on the chassis.

Ray, one of the main reasons the car is so smooth with the Nitro rack is because of the change in ackerman that it gives. I hope you guys are running it in the forward holes in the chassis! LOL

If the steering links are at more of an angle that is a GOOD thing
