rc kid he has move the position of the batts in plus put them in the center with more bias to the rear with the correct wieght split say 45/55 so it makes the car easier to set up and if yo place the electronics correctly on the chassis you can balance it right down the center.
kid i drove the car and was able to knock 2 tenths a second off per lap using the same set up i had i my tobbed car with minor droop adjustment. you wont be dissapointed!

Man-I leave and go to the playground with my daughter for a marathon 3 hour play session and you guys post like 15 times..hahaha!!

Thanks-I'll start with Losi Spindles.

Although I never had problems with the standard FTTC3 rack-I must say the new one in my car took way more "blueprinting" to run smooth. Maybe the molds from AE are getting old or something!!!

heres how it went before filing and trimming: slide-glug, friction-sluggish, pop-freeeEEEE-wham-hits the end. Slide it back the other way and slide-Slooowing, sluggish, freeEEE-Wham-hits the other side. NICE!!

All I can say is-thank goodness for 120oz servos!!!

Ray, you must've gotten a bad rack because mine is smooth all the way through the motion.

I have noticed as of late ae's parts are getting worse. I rtemember about 2 months ago i bought an input shaft for the front of my car and the holes were the wrong size
so i had to drill it out bigger

The NTC3 rack is smoooth as can be, but the standard rack was bad and yes-I agree-I think I got a bad steering rack. It was like this from before I ever ran the car. Its fine now after I worked on it.

Ray, did you put two (or even three) layers of servo tape under the receiver? That'll take care of any glitching, did for me.

BUT

Now that you've run the DEMON, are you proud to run a Warpspeed DEMON???

HHHEEEELLLLLL-YYEEEAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I LOVE the Demon. Its everythng I was hoping for-all the speed of the TC3 with smooth, predictable handling!!

The torque steer is gone, any feeelings of tweak-gone, just as easy to get motor in and out. Batteries and motor get a lot more air on them because the tub is gone. I can also run a lower roll center and normal roll centers for adjsuting to levels of grip too!!!

And I have only run it 5 battery packs-of which 4 were in competition. No testing and I ran pretty darn well with it-for me.

The glitching is gone after finding the exposed wires on my on/off switch. Looks like I caught them once with a hobbyknife and didnt know it. Black and red twisted wires exposed-not good!!
