I bought all the new parts I will need once my warp arrives!

Momma always said, Good things come to those who wait.

I have everything laid out and ready!

Howard, can I drive your warp again? I need my fix!

PEACE...

acloco-your obsession with your rear end is quite troubling to me!! Dont you know the old saying "whats-a behind me-doesnt matter!!!"

Just kidding. I should have my Demon soon and i cannot wait till we get our track put back together to start testing it and race it on the 21st!!! I am taking my complete set-up unchanged from my FTTC3 and just slapping it on. Its a very fast set-up with no real flaws-so it should realy shine on the Demon.

Default questions

what did you guys use to mount the antenna?

if its aftermarket? what kind?

can i still use the motor cam from my FTTC3?

Can I stil use the motor clamp from my FTTC3, since it has heat sink on the motor mount of the Demon?

Thanks!!

One more thing, since I think my demon will not be blue anodized, how can I remove the blue anodizing on my FTTC3 parts? I want my kit to be neat looking just one color, either blue or silver.

Thanks Again and Happy Racing!!!!!

MR.Warpspeed: please pm or post here if its on its way here to P.I> Thanks and more power!!!

lem2 - here ya go....and just look around on Integy's website for other items that seem hard to find at the LHS....Integy is one of the most overlooked suppliers on the net.

http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...02103102942.f1

Items such as....TEFLON stock motor shims....when is the last time that you saw any of these at your LHS??

RayH....LOL!!!

Yes....I thought I could do the same as you....basically transplant my drivetrain......um.....good luck!!

I was true to myself......giving the chassis one more go. I was the FIRST person at the track.....ran seven more packs.......making multiple changes.........then........

Swapped out the front one way and the rear diff with rebuilt diffs for the front and the rear........hehe....I had nothing to lose. ...except I REALLY HATE driving diff's!!!

My final setup is:

Warpspeed cutout upper deck

Front:
Gold springs/30 wt shock oil
Shock position - middle upper, inner lower
Camber link - upper inner
4.5 mm droop
F+0 - NO antidive
2 deg caster blocks
1 degree camber
stock shock tower

Rear:
Gold springs/30 wt shock oil
Shock pos- middle upper, inner lower
Camber link - upper inner
3 mm droop
2+2 rear block
1 degree camber

During the day.......I have tried ALL caster & antidive changes in the front.

Multiple toe/anti squat in the rear

Several camber link positions front & rear

Now......for those that have been following this......I am JUST trying to share a little info.....on the new chassis. Do I think the chassis is GOOD?? .......no......it is a GREAT chassis.

I am usually in the top 3 in my class at the track.......so....I do know how to build a car.........and set up a car.

I am going to use the cutout upper deck on my IRS chassis......race it......and let you know how I do with that.

No racing next weekend.........so...race update in 2 weeks!!

In my experience, aluminum antenae mounts contribute to glitching. I like the standard plastic Schumacher mount.

You can use e-z off oven cleaner to remove anodization.

Howard, are you sure that those are not Ofna females? I know those species are difficult to decipher their gender Heck, I would be happy to just drag my antenna around behind my car if I could get Victor to ship my D2 in blue tomorrow

Default Warpspeed Diff Cases

Hello,I just got my top plate and TC3 diff case's.They look great.

Now are these cases ready to rock,Bearing will roll very freely,Or is anyone finding that they need just a little more fine tuning?

It just seems that the stock ones I did myself,In order fot them to be free as I wanted I had to take out more material.

Are they checked with a outdrive as it is being sanded on?

Thanks.

Money ever gets right,We are going Warpspeed all the way!

I too have used an aluminum standoff on both of my nitro cars and my FTTC3 without any troubles. I do cut a notch just above where the antenna tube enters the aluminum and the wire in that way opposed to running it down onto the chassis plate and through the bottom. The few times I thought I had glitching turned out to be a loose ball end on one of my c-cups.
