have your local hobby shop order these parts bags:

ASC2228 - NTC3 Swing Rack $5.00
ASC2229 - NTC3 Swing Rack Hardware $7.00
ASC1714 - NTC3 FT Swing Rack Bearing Kit $12.00

You dont need the bearings but get them while you're at it.

IMO the closer a foam tire sedan feels like a 12th scale the better. The Nitro TC3 rack helps it get closer. Smooooooooooooooooooooooooothhh, precise, and very little maintinance.

Default Anticipation!!!!

how long will it take for my chassis to arrive??? hmmmmmm

so do you guys, sanded the edges of the chassis or just placed CA immediately??

I have just diss-assembled my FTTC3, and dipped all the bearings in oil!!! They will stay there till the chassis comes!!! Hmmmmmmm

Mr.Warpspeed: is it on its way??

Happy Racing to all of you guys!!

lem2-Chassis prep on a Carbon Fiber chassis is a labor of love. the smoother you can get it and the cleaner you can put the CA on-the more AWESOME your car is-to me anyways.

If you slide your finger along my 12th scale chassis and battery slots-its silky smooth. Take your time, make it pretty!!!

I usually start with 200 sand paper and finish with 600 on the edges. When I am done with that I use Q-tips to appply the CA on the edges. You will need a few Q-tips and you will also need to wear a mask and eye protection. The CA when it starts to dry can go gaseous and its nasty!!!

Also-the rounded edges are less likely to delaminate in a crash and also wont snag on carpet-making the car handle better at lower ride heights.

Default question

I have some diff cases coming and I was wondering if I would need to shim the diffs or are these going to be "plug and play".

Lem: Soft clamp the chassis in a vice and round the edges of the chassis with sandpaper. Once you have a smooth round edge, then take a cutip and apply a coat of CA. once it dries...go to the sink and put some soapy water in it and wetsand the edge....go back and put another coat of CA and do the same again. 2 or 3 coats of CA with wetsanding in between will give you tough edges that feel like glass. I may not be the fastest guy out there but I promise you I have the nicest edges....Ray Huang will vouch for me!

Does someone have the instructions on how to put the NTC3 rack together? I just got one...but can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks
