Ok, want to make this very clear so no one else was thinking along the lines I was with the use of "SSG" and the new graphite Victor is using. I was set straight on this just now by Victor himself and truly hope he does not mind me quoting a part of his email-

-Victor-
"The Blue graphite is going to be just as rigid as the black one. It will be nothing like the
SSG. No rubbing off on this carbon fiber chassis. We get nothing but the BEST!"

And yes I made sure he knew my preorder was for the blue chassis

Too funny you should say that, I think that was my second question before preordering the D2 The prototype did not have the sticker across the top plate...

Default Stickers!!

I want to install them myself!!! hehehehhe and in my car, my pitbox and so on!!! After all I think I will be the first Warpspeed boyt here in Manila!!!!

The reason why I cose the demon1, is because, crashes and t-bone here are common and I want to install the IRS side braces not to stiffen up an already stiff chassis but to protect my electronics and bats!!

Peace and I can't wait!!!!!!! 2-3weeks hohummmmm just have to contend myself with 1/12 for the moment!!!

The car you see without the sticker is not a prototype car. It is a production car in 2.5mm longwheel base. It is not the D2. All the cars have DEMON stickers on them.

However, Art does not display the DEMON sticker for his own personal reasons.

Victor-I am waiting on word from three other local racers who are thinking like me-that the Demon1 2.5mm is the way to go!!! As soon as I hear back from them-I'll let you know about the order.

The car pictured without the Demon sticker on the top plate (mine) was the very first 2.5MM car and, at the time was the prototype. We did not change anything for production because it worked perfectly. All Demon and Demon II cars will come with the Demon sticker proudly diplayed on the top plate. The 3MM top plate I mentioned will be sold seperately from the kits. The stock top plate is 2.5MM. Contact Vic for pricing.

Axiom5B-I may be one of those guys hitting you up for the hot set-up!!! the carpet they use at the last Champs is some strange stuff. Its a dbl thick Ozite that loks like a Huge grey 3M Scotchbrite pad. Last year-a lot of guys who are usually really fast got caught out by it and got totally lost on set-up. I was one of them and I actually had to copy a friends set-up verbatim and although I didnt do great, I at least had a car I could drive!!! I did move up close to 70 positions from where i started at though...

The Champs is 70% nerves , 20% Sleep deprivation and about 10% car set-up

Ray don't worry you'll get it man . I did it last year and had bad luck, but great learning experience. I'll be fast this year though!

See ya there!
