Nice Axiom, what about the steering rack? Do you have to use the NTC3 steering rack or can you use the stock TC3 steering rack? Also, will the chassis be 2.5mm's or 3mm's?

The chassis will be 2.5mm only. You can use both the NTC3 or the stock TC3 steering rack, what ever you prefer.

Will the new 2.5mm chassis for the DEMON be similar to the DEMON 2's 2.5 chassis?? besides the fact that it has a shorter wheel base??

Proud, like vic said you can use either rack, but have you tried the nitro rack? If you haven't you'll never go back to the stock one once you do. One of the great features of the Demon and Demon 2

For the track I race the Demon sounds perfect! So I placed a preorder with Victor and now have something to look forward to hopefully before October. Hmmm, this is not going to be easy waiting that long, I am worse then any kid I know I can hardly wait to see how this chassis handles an indoor tight course carpet track, I have a feeling it is going to be totaly dialed! No more posting for Victor till he gets the D2 out

Saturday night report.

Conclusion......I don't think I can build a reliable diff!!! ARGH!

Qualified 2nd in 19t. There was definitely more in the car, but did not find the setup/tire combo. The track is usually sprayed, but rain washed away most of that Thursday/Friday.

The Demon is a VERY stable platform. NO torque steer. No twitchy...as in normal TC3 fashion. Started with a very basic - middle of the road setup......the car would react to high speed chicane (as in full throttle....right.....left.....then 90 degree onto the straight.......VERY fast).

Come race carpet in Gilroy, no need to worry about VHT being washed away Besides, carpet is so much kinder to woven graphite chassis.

Fasttrack...thanks for the offer!!

The odd thing about SpeedWorld......with an unsprayed (should read.....WASHED track)....the track is actually just as fast.....the mod guys....were..maybe a tenth off of time.....but.....this was a new layout.......killer layout at that.

The current layout....is motor friendly......but put your driving suit on. There is a KILLER section at the start/finish line.......full speed...90 degree right......back to the left.......then 90 degree right onto the straight........if you drive the right line........DON"T LET OFF THE TRIGGER!

You MUST be willing to let the car drift up close to the wall in this section and at the end of the straight to keep carrying speed!!!
