shock caps

Have any of you guys tried the Yokomo shack caps with bleeder screws or the ones with bladders?
Comments? Thoughts?

The standard caps drives me nuts sometimes!

Default Howard Hudson, FROZEN!

Hey Howard, I had a chance to stop by HobbyPeople Chino and I caught your main. After all the LIP SERVICE you have been given on this board and a few others, I thought I would take a look at your car and see if anything had improved since the BEAT YOU during our Heads Up Race, YOU REMEMBER THE ONE WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO LAP YOU AGAIN!

Well, your car looked really good on the starting line before the race but,
"DID IT GET RACE SCARED/FROZEN?
** IT DIDN'T MOVE WHEN YOU PULLED THE THROTTLE **

Most of been those NUTZ again.

Oh Well, maybe you can read the instructions again and find out how to make that thing move for the mains.

Have a great day and remember, to many NUTZ can be bad for your health, Mr. Squirre.

Yes, they are the same size. I bought a set of caps with bladders but I haven't tested them yet, I'm waiting for the unobtanium shafts to arive so I can do a rebuild.

Just thought I'd hear if anyone had tried them and share their experience or give comments.

OleC - I've used both caps. The Yok caps with bleeder screws are definitely better than the stock caps. The bleed holes allow you to build more consistent shocks. The bladders work well too as long as you follow the instructions and remove the VCS foam piece from your shocks. The foam and bladder do not work well together. I think the bladders were a little easiest to use.

Default Me on my lid, Yes!

That was the battle for the lead(FIRST PLACE), and ONCE AGAIN YOU WERE AT THE BACK OF THE PACK trying to move dots, and just to let you know, the camera doesn't take pictures of the cars in the back so if you want a photo, follow me to the front. Howard the Squirre.

By the way, has your car thawed out yet from being FROZEN at the start line.

Default Ronny's first win with the DEMON

Here is an email I received from Ronny in California, I wanted to share with you guys.

I would like to know what other products do you offer for the TC3. I got the other demon chassis yesterday and I am setting it up for mod for ncrca world cup. At felta raceway in californa I raced in the onroad summer sizzler and I took first place with my Demon. That was my first race with the car and my first , first place this year.

Default The Demon on Carpet???

Has anyone had any track time (significant track time) with the Warpspeed Demon chassis on ozite yet? I'd like to know what they felt and how much it differed from racing on asphalt. We have our local hotshoe who is interested in getting this chassis, but we do not have too much info on the way this chassis works on the fiberous stuff yet (Ozite for the rest of you.... ) Any comments?

Ya use that setup, for medium traction carpet. BUT yank the rear swaybar...just feels better w/o it.

Default Shock caps...

Hello there!

I did a nice mod to my shock caps. I drilled small holes, and used the swaybar mounting screws there. To replace the swaybar screws, I drilled the holes a bit, and put the normal 1/16 screws there.

Here's a smal explanation(different screws used here though):

I hope to get a demon chassis soon, I'm looking forward to see how good it really is...

I'm racing Modified Touring at top level in Norway, and at the bigger races in Europe, and I hope we can make the chassis a bit more known over here...

Default Yeah...another win for the DEMON!

Went racing at Hobby World in Gilroy, CA on friday night, took TQ and WON sportsman stock.

It was my first time at that track and first time running carpet in 2 years! I was using the same setup as my asphalt except for different tires. Pit 27 front, Pit 20 rear. The car handled great, with consistency.

First win with my DEMON and it's only its second time out!
