Good luck to all you racers out there.

Default sundays racing

well the racing today was pretty good. the car handled very well. won both my heats but my nemisis MB racer out qualified me so I was second qualifier in stock. I also ran mod and won that class. but stock was a differant story. the turn out was low so we only had 5 heats . everyone went to another track that was running today also. I was going to go there also but woke up to late to make it. anyhow I was running two classes and put the wrong pack in before the stock main. so I was working on the mod car and I put the stock car on the charger for the final peak charge and continued to work on the mod car about 2min before race time I noticed that it was still peaking( what the heck) doh....! I put a dead pack on and it was charging not peaking. so I ran the race with a half charged pack . think I ended up 5th

Vic, I just got back from the state race at TQ. It was very small and tight, had to deal w/a lot of traffic cause there was't much room to get around. Ryan rhodes didn't show up (don't know why). But anyway I was the only one running the warpspeed chassis and it was great. It just took me all weekend to get it dialed cause it's been about five weeks since it's been on the track. My car was very tweked in my qualifiers and it wasn't until the mains I figured out how to get it right. I qualified 8th in stock and would have easily gotten second but lap traffic put me over the pipe and I had to redo a whole half lap, and I was turning just as fast of laps as Tony padillia (TQ and leader) but thats the way it goes (I guess). And I qualified 6th in 19turn (but in the B-main) Lots of good drivers but my car was awsome in the main. I didn't get off to so good of a start but once I setled down I moved up to third and was catching 1st & 2nd, but I dotted out big time with about a minute left and after that I just settled down and concentrated on keeping 3rd, and finished 3rd. All in all it was lots of fun racing.

Well, I just read what you were talking about and I asked my dad about it and he said that we would start traveling more (to bigger out of state races, we were going to go to N.C. for the nats but we went on a regular vacation instead). But he said that is about the absolute last place he's going to travel even though i'm better and like carpet more, I guess that place is known for cheating or some junk like that, that he dosen't like. Oh well mabye in two years when I can fly up myself.

No, stephen, tell your dad its not known for cheating. The first cheating incident they've had was last year. It is a great race, and the warp man might be there...
