Hey guys

I just ordered my Warpspeed chassis today. Should come next week! I'll need some help setting up the car from you all.

James,

I race at RCCAR and Ripon sometimes, I've seen you there, so would you mind helping me out some set-ups for these 2 tracks?

Thanks

Scroll through these pages, i'm sure you can find a baseline setup that will be a great starting point. BTW congratulations on getting a DEMON, you will not be disappointed.

I should be ordering one on the 25th, I'm very pleased with what I see so far. I think I'm gonna throw in the Penguin R/C chassis brace kit on it too, I don't know.

proudwinner,

If you get that chassis brace kit all you'd be doing is adding more useless weight, the DEMON chassis is brick-stiff, stiffer than the tub.

Does the chassis kit now come with the cut out top plate or do you have to buy that seperatly?

It does not come with the cutout top plate, but many have said that the solid one works best for most conditions.

Are those 6 battery slots the stock slots from the back up on the associated chassis or are they more forward a bit, I can't tell from these pics.

They are centered in the chassis and moved more toward the center as well.

No problem . Remember you also get a trick alum. battery brace that says "WARPSPEED" on it, and it is very light to boot. I just got my car recently and I love it.

Not really being sold on the battery brace but yeah it is cool. I found some pics on the first pages and the battery slots are actually just a tad bit futher forward than the stock slots, it's like the 4th or 5th pic down on the first page. The forward slots on the associated chassis are futher forward than warpspeed's. I still like the conv. kit though.

Ya the position of the cells is inbetween the rear and forward AE positions. The car is more balanced this way.
