New Robitronic charger
This new charger seems very interesting, some features I havent seen before...
EXPERT Charger now available! Based on the race-proven Pro-2000plus charger Robitronic developed the "Expert Charger" featuring "EXP-3P"- a totally new software program for optimum charging. This exclusive "Expert 3-Phase Charging Program" developed by Robitronic engineers adjusts charge rates automatically according to battery conditions: In Phase 1 the battery is charged with a very high current (8-9 Amps) which will lead to an increased voltage during discharge. In Phase 2 the charge rate is like any Pro charger using a current setting of 5-6 Amps. In Phase 3 the charge current is reduced to 3-4 Amps which will result in a siginficantly higher capacity. These 3 different phases of charging using optimized charge rates instead of a fixed charge rate over the complete charging cycle are leading to increased voltage during discharge and higher overall capacity. ... Advantages of EXP-3P Increased capacity Increased voltage Minimized heat build-up Increased cycle lifetime of your battery packs Robitronic Expert |

Guys trhere are some Dutch and German on-line stores which do ship them.
Look on the internet for -RC speedworld -VGmodelbouw -Viol Most of them you can mail for info. I know they all carry it. The brand originates from Austria so that's why it is pretty popular on the main-land in Europe. I recently barrowed their current Pro2000+ model from a friend. It's a solid charger. And small in size... Also R Schachhuber, the owner of Robitronic, is a real decent guy. He stands for the quality of his products. |
New Robitronic charger
Guys;
Just got the same E-mail from Robitronic too. Interesting specs, but I wonder about finding them in the USA. I was just thinking that this Charger would be REALLY great for spec classes that limit battery capacity. |
I noticed that this charger and the Team orion d67 pro looks the same. Are the specs different??
|
|
RCmodel.com.hk that advertises on here has the pro 2000 listed at 125.00 US $$ ... not sure what the shipping from HK would be...
