Default hello.

hey guys d4nny06 already had his mind made up so it wouldn't of mattered what you said.

Also towers won't put the LHS out of business just for the simple fact if you break a part or need a part for a big race asap your lhs is the ticket. The thing that affects lhs is getting a consistent ammount of people to race in the area where the lhs are as the every week racer type spend more money then the person that would say buy a rtr kit for bashing around. If you get people to keep racing alot then you get the inpoor of money to the LHS

figured I would ask here instead of making a new thread. IS there a(or a few) ESCs that are the all around. I don't expect a "best" thats usually opinionated off of the top few models. But are the top ESCs? I plan to run stock but what to be able to expand to mod later. No budget to hold to.

I don't know whether you own a shop of what... anyway. I can't find a shop provide better service than Tower.

Actually LHS doesn't support very well. Just like one near my home (Ultimate Hobby), everytime I tried buy something from them..... they told me this out of stock, that will be availabe next week, we don't carry this and we carry that. Ask some detail question, they said I am not sure or I don't know......... continue ask some more questions, then they will become impatient and give you a unfriendly face. How could people going to support LHSs?

Tower may not the best........ at least they could answer my question properly and the prices and stock status are very transparent and clear.

Hope you could open a good services shop to serve everybody. I will support too.

Also, im pretty new to this, the standard motor what came with the TT01 didnt need breaking in, and i think the 17T motor i am buying will need breaking in, how do i do this? also any tips? ive heard of people breaking motors in under oil?

Thanks, Danny
I have TT01 too, I thought you'd better spend more to get DuraTrax IntelliSpeed 8T. Also it included all high end functions. I have this one on, not bad.

Novak GTS also got similar price as IntelliSpeed 8T but I feel the breaking power is not very good.

LRP AI Automatic is good but a little bit bigger.

I have those ESCs as I mentioned above....... among those, I suggest you get the IntelliSpeed 8T.

I dont own a shop. I guess like everything there are good and bad experiences. I guess my point is that Tower isnt going to help you install it in your car, put new connectors on for you, etc. If you support the LHS they will usually support you back by sponsoring races, building tracks, etc. If you arent interested in racing then this is less of a selling point.

I personaly would go with the Novak GTS or if thats out of your budget the XRS, and like others have said, buy it at your local track or hobby shop. But if you have to go with one of the ones you listed at the top I have heard good things about the Duratrax ESC's, I have never used one myself, but I hear they perform decent.
