Default Paducah, KY - Onroad Racing?

I'm in the Paducah, KY area looking to get back into r/c racing. I'm not sure if much is happening in this area. I looked in the phone book and googled hobby shops and race tracks but there does not appear to be anything happening. Does anyone have any info or leads of r/c activity in this area? (Paducah,Benton,Mayfield,Murray...)

Also, it's been about 10 yrs since I last raced. I've seen lost of resources on the web. What are some of your favorites? I'm looking for info that would be geared for a newbie. I'm sure things have changed in 10 years.

Thanks,
LeNeave

Hey, I dont know the area, seeing as I live in New York, but this might help you out. There are tracks not listed on here, because it's up to the track owner to get it on here, so there may be one near you not in here.

I actually punched in Paducah, and there is one listed on 3233 Clarks River Rd.

Like I said, have no idea about that area, but just to save you the time lookin, that may be enough for you.. place is called Pit Stop Hobbies.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked there. No races since 2002. The hunt continues!

I'm from that area and theres not a whole lot of on road around there. The nearest place is Redline RC in Marion, Illinois. www.Redline-RC.com. I'm pretty sure they're still running on road, but off road is the big turnout. A lot of guys from Paducah come up to Marion to run off road. You can find out for sure on the forum.

I believe there is also racing down in Nashville, but I'm not sure if they're still running... and I don't know know their website off the top of my head.

For an even longer drive I think theres still a place running on road up in St. Louis, but again, I'm not really sure. If you wanna check out the Evolution Raceway site (gas track) and ask those guys they will be able to help you out. http://www.evolutionraceway.com/

Hope this helps, PM me if have any more questions.
