Definitely agree about the Pro2

I also need to add my TA04R - that was a TANK! but quick and nimble

Mini Cooper for sure! I was at a race a month ago pitting on the top of a stage. Finished my race put my mini on my table (forgetting to turn it off) get ready for my 1/12 scale race, pull the trigger and my mini launches off of the pit table on top of the stage and lands on the track and keeps going God bless the mini!

TC3,
I bought it when it first came out, around '97 and have tons of extra parts, arms, uprights, etc I have used it for tc racing, then drifting, back to tc, now converting to rally. i only broke front arms back in the tc days hitting the boards. and when i got run down by a nitro car!

I'm sure there are more durable cars out there, but the tc3 keep ticking.

slow down and stay in the middle!

your car will last a lot longer.

Corally 1/12th car. Ran that thing for three years and as I remember I only replaced the rubber bellows and the T bar O-rings. Both because they dry rotted. :-)

My TA05 was a good, reliable car. The chassis sprung real bad on me one time, but as far as impacts go, tough stuff.

My Hpi RS4 Rally.

Still use it to jump off 6 ft. loading docks and it keeps coming back for more.

hands down id have to say my HPI RS4 Pro2! i remember back then running almost full throttle onto an open pipe (dont ask why ... hahaha) .... i actually chipped off a big piece of the pvc pipe but as for my pro2, i tore a chunk off form the foam bumper, wrecked the front of the body .... other than that it was ready to go for the next heat! hahaha amazing!

rc-zombies: hmmm ... you think it would be tough to find a pro2 in good running condition (or even better - new in box)? would be a good start up kit for my son too. my other option was an M03-M but the pro2 seems to be a good option to consider since, although outdated, its still a race level car and for a begginer it could prove to be the ticket to finishing races and saving on parts while learning how to drive.

The Rustler and Stampede were very durable too. I know they are trucks but still RC cars none the less.

I had an HPI Pro 2 that I learned to race with. That car was a beast. It was in very good condition too, I dont know why I sold it.

Next is my current car, an Xray FK 04'. That car is a rock. I know the chassis is a bit dated but the car won't quit.
