Which plastic is more common for pit boards acrylic or polycarbonate. I am going to cut a few out of some red tinted 1/4in poly i found a good deal on. Im not sure about its chemical resistance.

just buy a glass cutting board at Ross or Marshalls for $5.00
and stick the Hudy/yokomo/Integy vinyl set-up grid on it.

the glass is worp free and chemical resistant...
and when you're done with it.. give to your mom/GF/ or wife for a gift.
