Locally people here seem to be jumping off their bling bling cars to the TA05 (so most are waiting for the new Tamiya TA05r).

Nope, no Xrays racing Minis. I'm still practicing with TA05 so I haven't gotten to race it yet but I did watch the finishing order from Sunday in our 4300 BL/LiPo class and the finishing order was TA05...Corally...TA05...XRay....XRay. Now, I would race you but I drive like a blind man with Parkinsons. Not really a fair comparison. Though if you want to come out to the track, one of us Tamiya TA05 guys would be happy to lend you one so you can test them side x side. The look of shock and awe would be fantastic. I only bash Xray because they're an easy target. Quality stuff...smug, self-righteous owners (sometimes).
