Default Tekin BC 112A question

I have a Tekin BC 112A I wanted to sell. How can I tell what software is in it? When I first turn it on E25 shows up. Is that it? I've been seeing h27 and h28 versions. Also........are these still being used anymore? What's it worth. Thanks much.

Yeah, E25 would be the software version.

Sounds like an older version of the software (not sure though). But seems newer is higher numbers. I believe only H28 and higher are safe for NiMH. You can send the charger into Tekin and have the software updated. I'm not sure what it costs.

I have an old Tekin BC112C (h27). I'd love to be able to still use that thing. But it just sits collecting dust. It was however the most robust charger I have ever used. It always worked.

h31 is the latest version of the software...

I love the that charger - its a great charger to use to re-peak packs since its has simple set-up features, but charges 100% all the time..I need to send my one back for service

as far as what its worth, i've seen them got from $5 up to $65 for a good shaped new one..
