yes its good to hear from you... i always ask joe how you guys are doing.... i got back into the rc drag pretty serious again.. doing the motors again and back racing... last i heard you guys were having a baby from what joe was saying always keep in touch buddy... albie

which of these would be best on a pro stock chassis, im only running 6 cells and a ferrite motor with custom chassis so mounting isnt a problem:

well 6 cell is my specialty.... id go with the narrow 1/10th scale tires 7870. they need to be cut down smaller plus id narrow them some more.... start with maybe a 2.42 tire...

what motor set up you running?

a orion revolution 8 turn or 8x2 which ever is better.
also is a pivot or t plate rear end a nesacity? just wanted to keep my first car simple and once i get the idea maybe built a fancier (more complicated) chassis?

id ditch the endbell on the orion motor and get a normal endbell on it.. the best i could run with round brushes was 1.991 the the next run with reg brushes car want 1.90.. iv gone as fast as 1.855@ 76mph with 6 cells and square brushes... big difference in drag racing...

i run non t plate cars... i wont run anything but a gms-11 car from grandmotorsports.... albie

so whats a good ferrite motor?

also what cells u run? sub c or 1/2a or something else?
sub c seem heavy sao was going to check and see if i can run half a ie intellect 1400's?

i make my own ferrite motors for drag racing only...

yes i only use sub c cells .. the 3/4th sub c cells are good for high cell counts like 20 cells but for 12 cells or less sub c cells are the way to go.. albie

ok im not serious so dont go making plans, but how much am i looking at for a good strong pro stock motor?
also what cells are best for a reciever pack?

man robk indoor drag racing... now thats too cool....

i agree 4 or 5 cell 50 or 80 mah cells are the norm we use in the cars..
as for a prostock motor if your running 8 cell prostock the motor is a neo can and if your running 6 cell progas \supergas that is with a ferrite can and the neo can is more money... albie

what size are these 50 mah cells? smallest ive seen are triple a's at 950mah?
