Can I use the standard Futaba RX crystals with this receiver or does it work with only the Futaba short crystals?

That's what I thought. Futaba says to use only the short crystals but other than the length I can't find a difference.

Ditto here.

I'm sure there is a reason that Futaba says to only use short crystals, but it didn't effect mine any way that I could detect. I would like to think that they aren't saying just because the regular crystal sticks up out of the receiver case and changes the "size" of the receiver.
