Its kinda funny to watch people ask for a stiffer chassis for carpet racing when they haven't even gotten a chance to try the car with the current chassis. Funny, like in
, not funny like in
.
How do you know if you need a stiffer chassis until you try it? Especially when we're dealing with a completely new design theme for a car. Just by looking at the "mm" of the chassis? Thats just bench racing...
All I know is that there are a lot of very stiff 'hop up' chassis tweaking, handling inconsistently, and finishing behind the flexible TA05 these days. Yet people continue to cling desperately to the 'stiffer is better' moto.
Just seems to me that you actually have to....ohhh, I don't know....RUN....a chassis before you decide it has too much flex.

Today its all spools asphalt and diffs on foam tires. Even the rubber carpet racers are starting to figure out spools are faster than one ways.
2. The thrust bearing is in a steel cage and it is an extremely high quality. We have factory drivers from other teams buying our thrust bearing for their cars (They fit the Xray diff

3. The steering bell cranks are 2.5mm thick and they are very strong. Chris Ashton drove it on an indoor track in the UK and it survived so it should last forever for regular guys

Darkseid - The kit will come with a 48p gear. Like you, I run 64p everywhere but most European consumers do not like 64p.
The Mi3 is designed to handle a pretty crazy spread of gear ratios so it can handle bonded magent BL motors (~12:1) down to 19T's and BL 13.5's that need monter ratios (~4.9:1 and lower
).
You are right about chassis stiffness. A certain amount of flex is faster but just like everything else too much of a good thing is bad. Very flexy cars like our old Axis 2 make it so setup changes have very muted effects and thats not good. Too stiff and setups are very hard to get right and you have no margin for error.

Don't let the TA05 see you in here, I heard last night if you don't gently caress it once a day at least, you'll be punished with ill-handling.

Hi Guys,
The Schumacher Mi3 Next Generation Touring car is now available for pre-order with free shipping discount built in.
The Mi3 is the most innovative touring car we've seen in recent years, and not just "another" 2 belt touring car. Many design features on the car are never seen before and looks to be a strong contender for the touring car market
Great job Schumacher!
Steve Wang
p.s. Thanks for taking my call yesterday Adrian
I'll give you a call back to continue our conversation.
