Charger Question

I just bought a Swallow Advanced 12V charger and i had a power supply (from a computer which i converted) but it the fuse went in it and i am waiting for a friend to fix it, anyway i was wondering if i could use a CAR Battery Charger to power my Swallow Advanced charger the specs on the CAR battery charger are:

Input: 240ac 50Hz 0.5A
Output: 12V dc 6.0A CONTINUOUS

The part that i am worried about is the continuous part will it blow up my Swallow Advanced Charger or would it work

Oh and i will add the specs of the Swallow Advanced 12V charger:

Input: 11.0-15.0V DC
Charge current: 0.1A ~5A per 100mA step

Just post if you need more information

Thanks,
Adam

Default

Never mind guys my friend said it wont stuff it up coz the swallow advanced has like a regulator in there to change the Amps, anyway i tried it but it said "Input Voltage Error" so i hooked it up to a voltmeter and it read 14.8 v and sometimes 15v so i took it off, thanks anyway
