No one in their right mind would compare a TA05 to an Xray or a Corally or a Losi or a Schumacher. Based on quality, performance and design.

Sure a TA05 can win a race, as you said at the club level. But, in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king......

Nobody in their right mind should spend $400-$500 on a chassis alone either...but they do. Anyway, I wasn't comparing a TA05 to any of those...you see, it's affordable and wins. BTW...Tamiya quality is also of the highest order my friend. Never knock their fit and finish or the fact that the TRF415 spanks those others on asphalt.

I think new kits keep me interested. Up grades and update's are improvements. If a manufacturer Dosent improve on its own design some one else will.
Why dosent any one complain when a new version of stock motor come's out?
If you like it you run it, if not you run another.
If I were to run rubber asphalt it would be MI3, carpet rubber FK05, Carpet foam 007. That said I'm agood customer. But to the racer I'm an Idiot.
But to the hobbiest I'm enjoying it. When you put a price on it you will not have fun. You will be complaining about how a new car beet ya and you were out bought. I'll say this my hats off to the manufacturers that keep at it when the truth is no matter what someone will alway's complain.

I've never understood the people who complain about new cars. First of course nobody makes you buy the new car. A T2 is still a great car. Second everybody acts like they are shelling out $400 every time they get a new car. But don't most people sell the old car? So you can still probably get $250 for a T2. So upgrading is $150. If you upgrade once a year I don't think $150 is a big deal. Or you can get the conversion for $220. And in the case of Xray most your old parts can still be used for the new car. I'd rather have a company coming out with cars that are more and more competitive rather than one who's cars are outdated before they hit the stores.

So who will be first? Well right now I'm hoping Schumacher cause it looks like a real cool car. Probably Corally after that.

I wish I could figure out if you can make a poll on this site, I want to set up the "bench racing nationals" so everybody can vote on all the current popular cars (and upcoming cars) based solely on how they look, with complete disregarded about how they perform.
