There are few people who have had a few of the newest designed cars, and none that I have seen here that have posted an objective review. Personally, and being a new guy to this scene I bought an xray because the lhs had parts, and the losi which my friend was pushing on me wasn't out yet (they also carry losi parts). At the track you can see fast and slow guys with all cars, there was another guy with a new tamiya whos car looked just like my xray when I was starting out, loose and slow, I've solved the loose part, working on the slow
Getting a good setup from locals who run the SAME car is key, I got some advice from guys who ran tc3's and it was different from what the xray guys told me and guess which setup worked alot better

Very nice and informative replies so far.
Now, my selections have expanded further more:
40% Cyclone WCE
38% XRay T2'007
12% TRF415MSX MRE
10% TRF415MSXX
Most of these( espicially the 415) need mods to fit a hard cased lipo pack.
All of them are cool and the MRE is cooler, but no longer available.
Lots of money must be spent to make the XRAY cool enough for me.
The only problem with the MSXX is the upper deck, which looks a bit strange.
The Cyclone has almost all the features I like in a touring car, although I don't know if it's CG is as low as that of the MSX or MSXX? ( Probably someone can give some feedback on this).
The XRay has the lowest CG ever and that is why I'm seriously considering one.
I have to make the right choice......!!!

Well, I've finally made up my mind and went for a Cyclone WCE.
The setup I'll be using to run the car is for pure speed:
TrakPower 4900mah lipo pack
Lehner 1920/4 turn motor( 7900rpm)
Team Tekin R1 Pro Brushless speed controller.
Ceramic bearings.
Ceramic balls.
Ti screw kit.
I might even try 3s or 4s lipos with one of the Lehners I have in my work bench.
I hope the Cyclone is worth the money.
I'm mad I wasn't lucky with the MSX MRE, though.
