that would be a nice track if they used the infield for a road course and using some of the bank turns like Daytona

that Velo track is beautiful. We run at the encino Velodrome. it has 1/8 inch expansion strips and this can be a problem at over 60 mph. I have seen guys go the full independent front ends and pivot ball rear pods to overcome the bumps. too bad, I remember the old Carson Velodrome.

I have a velo car, that I may enter the RCAction speed run.

I will use a mccallister dodge charger body with underbody valences

so far I am running a novak 3.5 and will use lipo for batteries, bsr capped tires, hyperdrive pan chassis.

this is probably way underpowered.. I will have to go to a stronger controller and use dual packs. or just run it the way it is.
It's probably good for around 80 mph as it sits.

All I need is a little more money to pour into this project to go faster. It would probably cost 150 for two lipo batteries, 85 for charger, 180 for speed control and 100 to 150 for a stronger motor. about 500 bucks. holy crap!!

80 mph seems to be sound better and better with me!!! lol

that's haulin ass, but i think the world record for RC cars is like 111mph held by an associated pan car, but i could be wrong. I'm pretty sure it's 111mph though, and it was an oval car.
