it looks like a brick as far as frontal surface area, but i imagine you get tons of clean air over the rear wing of that truck.. i may just get one...

Dale,

Just ran a high grip outdoor rubber/asphalt race this past weekend and didn't really like the tried and true Mazda 6 handling in practice. I was short on cash and had to settle for one of my used carpet spec DNA1 bodies (from my Birds 19t main race no less) that I threw the Mazda 6 wing on. It actually calmed the front end down (compared to the Mazda 6's nervousness) but had a great front end feel to it through the corners much like it does when running foams on carpet.

Now that sufficient time has passed since the DNA2's introduction, my question relevant to this thread is...what differences have the team drivers noticed between the DNA2, Mazda 6 and Mazda Speed 6 when racing rubber on high grip asphalt?

I have another similar race coming up and need to make a decision on which body to get painted up (DNA2 or MS6). Thanks!

Can the regular DNA still be ran with rubber tires on asphalt?

Thats what I ran yesterday Atx. I wish I would of went to rubber tire in the main. The car would have freed up. The foams made the car to tight in the center.

quick question about the dna2's rear wing.

there are slots running across the wing and it says out and open, am i to cut these slots out or leave the wing intact?

also on the dna1 body the rear wing has like arrows across the wing, do those need to be cut out or left intact?

thanks for any info

I don't know about the DNA2 but I wouldn't cut out the arrows in the DNA1 wing. Even if it helped with something I'm too lazy to make the cuts & I'd end up with a busted wing
